Cloud Road Competetion

The task asked music students studying towards a degree in New Zealand to compose a musical piece up to two minutes in duration to suit the artwork.
Cece McMillan's interpretation was influenced by the cultural references in the art. She chose to use midi instruments like the Guzheng, Japanese flutes and Xiao flutes to convey these influences within her musical composition.
As a result, Cece's track placed second in the national competition, gaining her access to a sample library provided by Sample Logic.
